where is everybody?
guys and gals how come all u people are extremely vociferous and loud when speakin out ur views in the session and so quiet here. the only posts i see here regularly are that of mash. its high time that everybody(including myself!) start using this platform to showcase our views and our voice. its good that a lot of people have registered to this blog. but it does not end there. this is your space fellow uni-yans.... ur own space. use it well.
one point i would like to mention about the sessions are the main events. we ve had quite a few great main events for the past couple of weeks. but there is sorta a monotonous overtone to all these main events. we ve had quite a few skits and similar stuff. why isn't anyone trying hangman?? or even quizzes.. the main events are a very good oppurtunity for all members to improve their stage presence and it tests their control over the audience a lot..
another suggestion.... we cud give away small gifts each time for the winners..this cud improve competition in the main events which seem to be lacking a bit. the standard is high but everybody takes the main event too lightly!
so tht's it for now people..as for me ..i gotto start crackin for my series exam which begins on monday...till next time

I just had to post this b'cos this is the only way i get to participate in UNI-Y these days...I came for only a few days and then My fabulous Academic performance caused my folks to decree thati spend my saturdays at home.........Now this is all the fun i Get to have ...At least I can have a l'il piece of there here...Hope you guys Participate a bit more here. Why not have a discussion forum here like we have there?

We're back.........
Hi guys,
Was on an "industrial visit" (ahem...) and was on the road for 9 days... (Sorry mash) It was awesome....
We spent the morn and afternoon of 6th last at Cochin ( waste of time, if u ask me) with only industries to look at.... Hit Rockin' Bangalore the next day.... The city that never sleeps .... Got back to hotel at around 11.30 ( not wasted , mind u ;-) very much intact )
Goa was a screw up .. Hardly got time to check out the place .. But to be honest , the industry was superb ... Got time for a prawn, although:-) (How disgusting, said my dad,mom,sis ...)
The most beautiful place of them all was Coorg .. I said "beautiful" not "HOT" ... There is a difference .. The way to Coorg is filled with natural greenery and was very much satisfying.. It is always worth a visit..
And back to Trivandrum .. Back to the place where it all began .. Back with our routine .. Cutting classes on the first available day .. "Forgetting" to finish an assignment tomorrow promising to give it next week ;-)
Went to see 'The Rising' today... except the beginning and the songs, it was an awesome movie.. It had good dialogues and some fantastic moments.. Not saying more but, it is a must see movie..
