'CLASSMATES' with Uni Ymates!
I can c that no1 has blogged abt the movie v all went 4 on 21st! So i thought...why not take the initiative?! So here goes......Now 2 begin with..as usual..the 'cream' of Uni y was late..(ok..ok...now... i kno that u all hav that 'wat-a-lie!!' look on ur faces!) But i take the whole responsibility of being 'on' time.(hehehehe...Sorry 4 the trouble!)So when i reached the movie had already started..but thankz 2 the 'armoured knights' Arun John & Manu.....who came in 2 'rescue' Ramita & me with the TICKET 'swords', 4rm the 'trecherous & evil' HOUSEFULL board & the ocean of 'army' who wanted 2 get into the SRI PADMANABHA 'fortress!All along the journey 2 the 'fortress' Rajesh, Sindhya & Insane Arun had been calling us 2 kno our xact position..rite 4rm Palayam 2 Kezhakekotta...(3 cheers 2 the unity of Uni Y!)Also..Abhi worked a gr8 deal 2 solve my minor conflict with my mom!!(but..hey..after all she's my mom..& she knows that the incident itself was a part of my 'election stunts'!!)
Now abt the movie...I cant think abt a better movie 2 watch with ur friends! It held the real essence of the typical Kerala University campus which is nowadays....absent..(coz v no longer hav campus poltics..)! Its true that 'Campus' rhymes with 'Love affair' & this movie was no exception! But it had this realestic picture of it! It wasn't like this normally seen 'modern muttathu varkey' kinda love story. & the exceptional side of the story was that it wasn't focussing entirely on the love stories! It had this essence of friendship, love,hate,zest,sorrow,revenge,repentance,forgiveness & nostalgia.
After the movie all of us..longing 4 pure oxygen came out guarded by all our 'armoured knights'. The next item was the inevitable..LUNCH..!! All of us..in 3 'auto'matic 'chariots' & few 'horse' driven 1s.. reached the 'royal' KALAVARA. There v had a lunch at the roof top restaurant coz only that could hold all of us..(hehehe)!& there the trademark 'ironings' take off! Starting 4rm the 'seat-mattam' & the absence of 'light on the shoe' of the NAAZ poster ( sorry..but thats all i rememeber..after all...i cant maintain records 4 the 'ironings'!) As soon as the food arrived all the 'knights' showed keen interest in 'attacking' it! A particular 'knight' was particularly interested in 'cleaning' the curry off the bowl! Then there was this another big 'knight' who had all his concentration on 2 things..his 'lost' seat & his special food!The 'attcking'(..or sharing as it is called in the civilized world!)..was the BEST! Varun & MJ came in 2 savour the aroma of the 'royal' food! ( Sorry!! But better luck next time..!)
Now..abt the day! It was a wonderful day! I do hope that v find more good movies that all of us can go watch & of course...hav lunch 2gether too! coz afterall...thats was the best of the rest!! Let me thank Mash 4 such a wonderful idea,Abhi 4 getting the tickets 4 all of us (& venting a BIG hole through his pocket!), all my fellow Uni Ymates 4 turning up & making this get-2gether a success & last but not the least...I'd like 2 congratulate the President & the Secretary 4 their organizing skills! This small event was a job well done!
P.S 4 Varun....nxt time when v plan a movie... o come with us..rather than ur 'special' friends!
