we had the onam celebrations!!!
the onam celebrations!!sadly its over!! had a really nice time!!the celebrations started with the meeting at 11:30...went till around 12:15..then we had the onam message & experience by all the members....and in between had some nice songs sung....and by around 1:30 everyone was feeling hungry and all speeches etc were over...straight to mess hall for lunch...everyone was eager to have lunch...i saw no patience!!
lunch was good...there were achars,thoran,aviyaland some extra sweet madhurakkari,2 payasams (one with a little kick factor),boli,pulisheri,olan,moru and rasam..
got some nice snaps of abhijith having lunch...
then there was the truth and dare part...started at around 2:30...went around till 4:30 or so..lots of people got "ironed" upon!!n some prety interesting dares were there...like arun john got asked to drink cocktail...and febna danced with a ghost partner...and deepa got asked to...nevermind :D
then there was musical chair...interestingly...mash won!!
and finally there was sundarikku pottu thodal (aka SPT as a famous member says )
overall....i would say this onam celebration was a great succes!!had lots of fun!!
hope we have a bigger better one next year with lots and lots of fun!
and i would like to conclude this post with 4 famous lines which we sung at the celebrations..ie lines by a famous member..
