UNI-Y IS REALLY FLOURISHING..

hmm..let me thk,we had 14 new members..ananthalekshmi,sindya,madhuri,jayakrishnan(all frm barton hill),mariam(cet),devu(frm marivanios i thk) and lots more..i am sorry to say tht i dont remember the names of all..sorry guys,if anyone remembers any other names, pls do tell us..and the new members r all so talented too..ananthalekshmi,mariam,jayakrishnan sings beautifully, madhuri is a veteran in classical dance..she has been learning bharatnatyam, kuchipudi, mohiniyattom aaaaaand ottanthullal(!!!!) for the past 9 years..amazing..i wonder if its the same old 24/7 timings for her!!she sings too..

Hi all,

i have been a part of this group called uni-y. starting as a dormant member, building up relationships i have seen the growth and all the events...ahem,ahem i mean all..(did i hear somebody chuckling?)... this UNI-Y had done a lot more to shape my personality than anybody can ever imagine...no , i wasn't on of those talented speakers who joined uni-y to flaunt their talent after they won a few competitions in the city...Mash , u r a witness to all that happened... i am fortunate to have ppl like u and PB to guide me thru all those phases..the grilling, during the sessions the model parliament and the various events give u a feeling that u can face anything in this world.
i can never show my gratitude to this organisation in words.. but i'll fulfil my promise to remain in touch with this group atleast thru this blog for the time being...
I had made a promise to be there for a session if i am there in tvm on a saturday..i have kept the promise till date...

ojjo board is for real,dudes...
hi guys,
last week, the presentation was done by amritha and reena on ojjo board..THAT THG IS FOR REAL,yaar, trust me..it worked for me and for many others at uni-y.
the.. er..spirit or ghost or watever it is,said many thgs frm the past and present of many members thr, including me..but thn,it was really mischievous and goofed arnd a loooot,i thk they ought to make it against rules for the spirits to goof arnd, dont u thk?cum on,they r playing wid our futures..(b/w,i sincerely hope tht it was just joking wen it predicted tht i mite bomb in one of those first year papers!!!)..also,its high time for them to incorporate spellcheck system into the whole thg..
all the same it said soooo many facts, true to the core,i do believe in it..
and even the dumbest morons of spirits, who has trouble wid spellings kno tht NAYANA is single and not interestd, and yet i hav trouble convincing the idiots i call "friends" the same..
hmm..it was wonderful..but,one of my frnds gave sum fantastic expln to ojjo board, which has really confused me tht i dunno what to believe now,in ojjo board or my frnd..
thn,thr were 3 new members..one of thm, indu, was simply fantastic..i mean, her "counter-chori" strategy was world class,i've been told..not to mention, she analyse pple sooo accurately too :)..if u get the drift..
thn, classes started today..the honorable dept did a gr8 job in shuffling, all the dream pairs were broken up..and the only couple of our yr were also split up for the good..or bad..
PRETTY SMART FACULTY,i must say..
so take care..and yea, congrats to arvind, abhijit, eric, arun, rohin, aparna, gouri and the rest for u-kno-wat..
bye.
nayana.
voodoo that you do
any body still spooked from the latest presentation?
If i ever had a remote fear of the supernatural...they were all shaken off yesterday
The oujoa board(how do u spell the damned thing?) seemed real enuf and so did the witches...
but what comes out in the end is that even if ghosts do exist.... they r all dumb morons who dont even know basic spelling!!
Now wat do v hv 2 fear??!!
oh and by the way .. hearty congrats 2 Mr.Atticus,Mr Eric Eldho Paul,Mr. Insane and Mr.Pranav Kumar on successfully incorporating dust particles in corporate eyes.... Lead on guide lights!!!
Me not responsible for the great main event ...
This is to make a small correction to Nayana's post ... unlike what she said, I dint even lift a finger for the main event. I just came up with the idea for the second half. She gets all the credit for the hard work. She came up with the idea for the quiz and doing it in two parts. She also single handedly found the questions off the net and brought them. I just sat my lazy @$$ down at home. Kudos to her ... This is Rohin btw
In re: last session..
Too bad I had to miss the session, seems like the members had a blast..
Hmm, double-talk seems to be something that Uni-Y has inculcated in all of us, the "veteran" member most of all, n i mean this in a good way.. to be able to put things in a different way, the art of repartee, is no mean gift.
Following your own heart, seems 2 b a very risky proposition, advisable only to those who are ready to enjoy, or bear, the consequences of it later. BUT, but,-[outcomes of ur decision,if any, affects none else but u.]-doesnt seem to b a very logical proposition.. seems the author hasnt heard of Chaos theory.. a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil, and there's a tornado in Texas.. :)
The least of your acts would affect any and all of those surrounding you, and the magnitude of those effects increase, the more connected, the more social, the more
significant/powerful you are..
Ergo, following your heart is okay, but you need to be able to live life on your own terms, but also, MORE importantly, to say, "hell with the consequences".. :>
hi guys,
talk bot the last session?? wat wid lekshmi wanting to be an artiste against her parents' wishes, yet expect them to support her financially, and again wondering wat she's gonna do if she gets a complete loser for husband{a very unlikely situation..if u ask me :)} and anuroop suggesting "might-be-practical" situations if the mod wudnt allow hypothetical situations!!but the main event was definitely cool..:) kudos to..well,er..rohin :)
but really guys, the way the teams simplified arcelor deal and current kerala politics and the humorous presentations were worth watching.
jokes apart,i agree wid lekshmi..it's high time we started following our own heart.these days, people think too rationally, look at all the risks and "at stakes" involved,be too practical and decide.but, hey,u've got only one life,it's for u to live.
just pursue watever ur heart asks u to do,it might not get u anywhr, but u'll be able to live life in your own terms,in zest..in short,u'll be happy.and thts the sole purpose of us living-a happy contended life, with ups and down, small joys and sorrows and dumb mistakes..
so friends, follow ur heart..BUT IF AND ONLY IF,the adverse outcomes of ur decision,if any, affects none else but u.
so live the moment, follow ur heart, live life to the fullest.again its just my opinion, its upto the readers to decide how they shud live-a safe or a happy life.
("philaachapy" adichu desp aaki alle?sorryyyyy!!)
take care..
bye,
nayana
